Ingredients for 6 servings:

Olive oil 3 tbsp.
Garlic 3 cloves
Onion 1 pcs.
Pork sausage with garlic 500 g
Red sweet pepper 1 pcs.
Long-grain rice 2 cups
Dry white wine 1/4 glass
Chicken broth 250 ml
Peeled shrimp 20 pcs.
Saffron 0.1 tsp.
Mussels 500 g
Frozen green peas 1 cup
Olives 1 cup

Preparation:

  1. Cut the sausage into cubes, chop the garlic and onion. Peel the bell pepper from the seeds and chop finely.
  2. In a large deep frying pan with hot oil, saute finely chopped garlic, onion and bell pepper for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Throw the sausage into the pan and fry until lightly browned for 2 minutes.
  4. Add quickly boiled rice, wine, broth, saffron and shrimp. Cover and cook over high heat until most of the liquid is absorbed into the rice (about 6 minutes).
  5. Add mussels, peas, olives and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the mussels open.
  6. Remove from heat, remove all unopened shells and let stand under the lid for about 5 minutes until the rice absorbs all the liquid. Serve directly in a frying pan.
