Ingredients for 4 servings:

Canned chickpeas 450 g
Extra Virgin olive oil 35 ml
Garlic 1 clove
Lemon juice 1 tbsp.
Coarse salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Large pitted olives 8 pcs.
Celery stalk 1 pc.
French baguette 12 pcs.

Prearation:

  1. In a blender, mix chickpeas, ¼ cup olive oil, lemon juice and crushed garlic. Whisk to a paste, then season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil, sliced olives and finely chopped celery. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Toast the slices of bread until golden brown. Spread the mass with chickpeas on toast, then spread the mass with olives and sprinkle with the remaining olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
